Owl Guardian Services take care of a whole range of financial needs from claiming state benefits to high end investment programmes. Whatever the requirements or financial woes, we are here to help.

We work within the framework of the principles of the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and always act in our clients’ ‘best interests’. Our aim is to protect, empower and liberate our clients.

What makes us different to other organisations is the personal contact. Our liaison officers are a unique facility enabling us to be responsive to our client’s individual wishes. We liaise with families, care providers, social services, local authorities and other organisations in order to ensure our clients are protected, cared for and their money is being well managed. In addition, a bespoke budget is tailored to each individual’s circumstances to guard against financial wastage.

Deputyship

A Deputyship Order from the Court of Protection allows us to act on behalf of the client in dealing with their property and finances. There are very strict guidelines on how this service is managed, and the work is overseen by the Office of the Public Guardian.

A General Power of Attorney is especially suited to someone who is in the position of having to move into a care home and requires support with finding the right care placement, sorting out their home and contents, ending a tenancy or selling a property.
